2. ADVANTAGES FOR DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE

LEDs are available in a wide range of different colors and can be used in conjunction with one another to create color changing effects. The application of a DMX control system enables its user to determine the brightness, speed and color of an RGB LED product's all embracing spectrum of over 16.7 million colors.
The small dimensions of an LED allow them to be used in a variety of shapes which makes them a flexible lighting source for use in any number of applications.
The LEDs' low voltage usage, the low level of generated heat, as well as the fact that they do not produce UV radiation make LED not only a much more convenient and flexible lighting solution, but also a more secure one. While conventional light sources can frequently not be used for illuminating certain materials, LEDs can be combined with almost every type of material, offering its users an unlimited range of possibilities.

3. ENVIRONMENTAL ADVANTAGES

LEDs are low energy products which reduce carbon emissions. They are also a more eco-friendly product for disposal at the end of their useful life, as they contain no sulfurs or phosphors. Another important environmental advantage is the outdoor lighting. LED light does not effect spectral compositions; it does not – unlike other light sources - disturb the orientation of nocturnal animals.
